This latest addition to the NARK II Product Line is a new screening test that enables you to determine if an unknown plant or oil substance has suspect low levels of THC and is a legal hemp/CBD product, or if it has suspect high levels of THC, and is considered an illegal, controlled substance. Sold in boxes of 10 tests.
br>This test was developed to address the confusion that arose when the 2018 Agriculture Improvement Act, also known as the Farm Bill, was passed, which removed hemp from the Controlled Substances Act and provided protections for the interstate commerce of hemp. The Federal Law made it legal to grow and sell hemp and hemp derived products with less than a 0.3% THC concentrate. It also declared that no state or Indian tribe shall prohibit transportation or shipment of hemp that was produced in accordance with the law. Although, individual states still have the jurisdiction to decide whether they want to make CBD legal in their state, currently there are only 3 states where CBD remains illegal: Idaho, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Hemp and marijuana are both products of the cannabis plant family but hemp doesn't contain any of the intoxicating compounds of marijuana. Though some people with a trained eye can see the difference between the two products with a visual inspection, only a chemical test can determine for certain whether cannabis plant material has a low enough THC level to qualify as hemp. If tested using a Duquenois-Levine Reagent Presumptive Field Test, both hemp and marijuana plant and oil products would test positive for THC because this test can€™t determine between less than 0.3% or 20% THC, thus it is impossible to tell the difference, and that has led to much confusion, embarrassment and hassle for Law Enforcement.

The new Hemp / CBD Detection Test lets you first screen the substance for suspect low levels vs suspect high levels of THC. If the substance tests positive for suspect high levels of THC, then you should test it using the NARK II Duquenois-Levine Reagent Presumptive Field Test (SKU: NARK2005) to determine if the substance tests positive for possible presence of certain chemical compounds associated with Marijuana. If the Hemp / CBD Detection Test indicates suspect low levels of THC, you should follow your department's policy for further testing.

This new screening test saves you the hassle, the embarrassment, and the time associated with arresting/booking someone for possession of legal Hemp or CBD products.
